Exporting

There are two ways to get your content out of Machined: Copy and Export. Both options are available at the bottom of the article editor.

If you're publishing to WordPress or Webflow, you can skip exporting entirely — see Publishing.

Copy​

Click Copy to copy the article content to your clipboard. You can then paste it directly into any editor — Google Docs, Notion, Word, or anywhere else that accepts rich text.

Export​

Click Export to download a ZIP file containing:

  • The article as an HTML file
  • The article as a Markdown file
  • Any images used in the article
